Tacit Knowledge Urban Research Network (TURN)

TURN is a collaborative research network between Centre for Policy Research (India), Indian Institute for Human Settlements, Hyderabad Urban Lab, and Tata Institute for Social Sciences to study and document "tacit knowledge" in urban informal processes, from relational geographies of settlement, housing, and economies. They tell many stories, such as the history of the Kolkata Urban Archive, fieldnotes from Vasai Virar, Clan-based autoconstruction. They host their archival material on Kolkata on a publicly accessible Zotero group
