Research Program Description

Raymond Fang's research program centers on real estate speculation in Los Angeles Chinatown. He is interested in understanding the raced, gendered, and classed contours of displacement, eviction, and gentrification, with an eye to the forms and scales of governance and law that produce real estate financialization.
