Design Statement: I selected this visualization to show the sheer number of organized hate groups in Southern California. 

  • There are approximately 35 organized hate groups in southern California that have been identified.
  • The most prominent of these groups embody white nationalist politics.
  • The most notorious of these is the Rise Above Movement (RAM)
