AiT Panel Three: SPATIAL MOVEMENTS, DISLOCATIONS & OCCUPATIONS

The Department of Anthropology at UCI is pleased to be holding our 12th annual graduate student conference, Anthropology in Transit, on February 7-8, 2020.

Our conference, Stories-so-far: Spatial Knowledges and Imaginaries, explores ideas of circulatory space, spatial margins and centers, placemaking, and practices of spatial justice and resistance. By centering space and place as critical fields of inquiry, we hope to rethink how space has been theorized, mapped, and practiced. Conversations during the conference will continue in the post-conference "Spatial Stories" digital working group.
