I am Yen-Yu Lin, currently a sociology Ph.D. student at the University of Virginia (UVA) in the United States. I was trained in political science, having earned my dual bachelor's degree at National Taiwan University and Waseda University (Japan), and a master’s degree at National Taiwan University. My research interests lie in comparative-historical sociology, cultural sociology, and political sociology, particularly about collective memory, collective action, and historical reconciliation.
