I am a graduate student in the Department of History of the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, where I also obtained her Masters in Museum and Heritage Studies and Postgraduate Diploma in Museum and Heritage Studies under the African Programme in Museum and Heritage Studies (APHMS). I was curator at the Moto Moto Museum in Zambia from 2006 to 2016. My research project focuses on histories of the museum collections at the Moto Moto Museum which were a result of anthropological studies in the colonial period and ethnological work by the Missionaries of Africa, an order of Catholic Priests that settled in Northern Zambia.
