Critical Commentary

Hurricane Maria left the island of Puerto Rico in total blackout. One year have passed after the hurricane and there are still places that have no electricity. No electricity means no food in the fridge, mosquito bites, no school and for some it can mean the difference between life and death. Because the power authority was so slow in the response of connecting citizens power  some people decided to connect their own power back to their houses with the electric authority authorization. This image symbolizes the resiliency of some citizens that were tired of waiting for the government and relief agencies to connect their power back.
