This website is a repository and social media forum for urban explorers from all over the world, but mainly in North America. It is a space in which many urban explorer epistemology is formed and propagated across the many disparate urbex communities. It is notable as a site where issues of practice and ethics often come to the fore. UER.CA is also a potential space for engaging ethnographically with interlocutors. The platform/site allows for photos, video, and personal blogging. While everyone starts off as a "basic member", time spent engaging in, and posting proof of your urbex endeavors can lead to more favorable member statuses such as "premier".
