Critical Commentary
This is a picture of the Port Tau prince Grand Cemetery . Cemetery across the diaspora have always been important spaces where one can pay respect to dead, and received guidance (McKitrick). Haitian cemetery are Voodoo influenced.The dead never sleep for part of the ancestral worship is watch upon the loved ones even in the after-life.The cemetery has entered the daily vernacular of Haitians it is sacred geography.
