Critical Commentary

Voodoo temples are all around Haiti. During the  1940’s Voodoo temples and ritual, Objects were destroyed as part of Catholic anti-Voodo campaign. On the questions of viable institutions, Voodoo priest in particular rural locals have served as leaders in times of distress and crises. Many attempts to help Haiti has displaced this important beacon of support for the local community, even blaming them for the cause. The color-scape of the temple speak a different story then what is usually considered of Voodoo-dark and mysterious. The Vibrant colors, as well as the overly scented dimensions of the spaces.
