Critical Commentary
A montage of two photos: 1) plastic pellets released by Formosa in Lavaca Bay and 2) the aftermath of a 2017 hailstorm in Texas (more than $400 million in damages). The montage is a first attempt to play with the visual qualities of the pellets and their scale. According to a spokesperson of the foundation "Plastic Soup" (2020), circa "265,000 pellets per second" might be released in Europe, creating a "Hailstorm of Plastic"
