Critical Commentary

  • The image tries to account for the accumulative dimension disaster and toxicity
  • The nested temporalities that create and drive toxic events are made visible on a mundane temporal scale (e.g. the calendar)

I find the image evocative for trying to account for visualizing both the daily and escalating exposure to toxic substances in a disastrous event. The nested processes that have led to the event are nevertheless obscured and only addressed in the accompanying text.
