Critical Commentary

In response to the city's approval of the construction of a 725-unit luxury market-rate apartment complex in Chinatown with no affordable units, CCED files a lawsuit in LA County Superior Court against the City of LA and developer Atlas Capital. The suit alleges violations of numerous laws, including the Charter of the City of LA, Measure JJJ, and the California Environmental Quality Act.
